There are a lot of things involved in implementing a new theme for your blog. One of those things is how your previous posts will be presented with the new theme. Some bloggers have been using the Theme Test Drive Plugin to see how their blog would appear. However, you need to view a lot of individual article pages to make sure the new layout works well with any kinds of post structure.

Another suggested alternative is by installing a new Wordpress blog in your directory and make it unlisted in search engines and not pinging services on new post submissions. For sample posts, you can download the Sample WordPress Content which includes:

• Multiple posts with different elements in each
• 12 Posts to force pagination
• Blockquotes, lists ordered and unordered and floating images
• Comments on a few of the posts
• Parent, child, and grandchild categories and pages
• Tags
• Multiple months for the archives

You can then unzip the file and extract it. Then, import the xml file from your Manage>Import and go to the WordPress option from the bottom of the list.

Quite simple isn`t it? It saves you a lot of time than creating your own content or browsing through old posts.
